About BesBes
BesBes is an Egyptian app and website for pets: adopt or buy safely, find the nearest vet, shop or service, and get alerts when a pet is lost or found near you.
What is BesBes?
BesBes is a pet marketplace and services app for Egypt, built so owners can decide with confidence. We start in Cairo, Giza, Qalyubia and Alexandria, then open the other governorates.
- Adoption, sale and stud listings with a trust layer: verified papers, licence notices and minimum-age rules.
- A directory of vets, shops, groomers, boarding, trainers and sitters.
- Lost and Found alerts for people around you.
- Pet-care guides in plain language for cats, dogs and other pets.
- BesBes Reels: short videos of pets.
- «Our Street»: street-animal reports routed to registered rescue partners.
- «Ask BesBes»: an AI assistant for pet-care and app questions.
What do you pay for?
Adoption is free. BesBes takes no money for any animal and never holds buyers' or sellers' money: they agree directly with each other.
We earn from digital services, priced in Egyptian pounds, that the account holder buys:
- Seller subscriptions (Pro Seller) and kennel subscriptions (Pro Kennel): more listings, a badge, a storefront and stats.
- Listing boosts: a higher place in results for a few days.
- Business Pro for shops, clinics and services: promotions and a verified page.
- BesBes Plus for pet owners: more «Ask BesBes» questions and instant alerts.
- Job posts on the BesBes jobs board.
The app also shows sponsored cards and partner product links (such as Jumia), at no cost to you.
Our rules
- No sale or adoption of an animal under 8 weeks old.
- Breeds banned by law are not published, and conditional breeds are marked by licence status.
- No wild animals or birds of prey.
- Phone numbers never show to visitors; contact happens inside the app after sign-in.
